The installation of general small-scale flat photovoltaic mounts mainly consists of three primary components: triangular beam mounts, crossbeam mounts, and vertical mounts. Their main purpose is to achieve a certain angle relative to the irradiation surface. Additional installation parts include load-bearing components, diagonal braces, tie rods, clamping blocks, hinges, bolts, connectors, and more.

 

① Triangular beam mounts include both longitudinal and transverse types (back beams, diagonal beams, and low beams), typically made of flat steel.
② Crossbeam mounts generally serve a compressive resistance function, usually using aluminum alloy C-shaped steel with aperture selection based on the application scenario.
③ Vertical mounts can either be the back beams of triangular beam mounts or designed separately.
④ Other connecting structures primarily help secure the mounts. During installation, bolts are used to connect and fix the triangular beam mounts, which are then connected and fixed with other crossbeams, vertical components, etc. However, it is worth noting the following points: anti-movement components must be added when connecting crossbeams and support frames. If necessary, tie rods can be used in crossbeams, with the installation of tie rods and diagonal braces determined based on the span length. Connecting plates and bolts are required to fix excessively long crossbeams.

 

What issues should be considered when selecting solar photovoltaic mounts?

The selection of solar mount materials and installation methods requires rigorous calculations. Additionally, factors such as the texture, climate, and environment of the installation location influence the choice, with weather resistance being one of the selection criteria. For instance, ground anchors can be used for fixation at sites with soft soil. If historical maximum wind speeds or snow loads are within certain limits, materials that meet the requirements while being cost-effective can be appropriately chosen. Other factors to consider include maintenance and material recycling.
