Bored Cast-in-place Pile Foundation

It is relatively convenient to form holes. The elevation of the foundation top surface can be adjusted according to the terrain, making the top elevation easy to control. It uses a small amount of concrete and steel bars, requires small excavation volume, has fast construction speed, and causes little damage to the original vegetation. However, it involves on-site hole forming and concrete pouring, and is suitable for general fill soil, cohesive soil, silt soil, sandy soil, etc.

Steel Screw Foundation

It is convenient to form holes, and the top elevation can be adjusted according to the terrain. It is not affected by groundwater and can be constructed normally under winter climate conditions. It has fast construction speed, flexible elevation adjustment, minimal damage to the natural environment, no earth filling or excavation works, and little damage to the original vegetation, so site leveling is not required. It is suitable for deserts, grasslands, tidal flats, Gobi deserts, frozen soil, etc. However, it uses a large amount of steel and is not suitable for foundations with strong corrosion or rocky foundations.

Isolated Foundation

It has the strongest resistance to water loads and excellent performance in flood and wind resistance. It requires the largest amount of reinforced concrete, needs a lot of labor, has large earth excavation and backfilling volume, long construction period, and causes great damage to the environment. It is rarely used in PV projects now.

Reinforced Concrete Strip Foundation

This type of foundation is mostly used in flat single-axis tracking PV brackets where the foundation bearing capacity is poor, the site is relatively flat, the groundwater level is low, and high requirements are placed on uneven settlement.

Prefabricated Pile Foundation

Prestressed concrete pipe piles with a diameter of about 300mm or square piles with a cross-sectional size of about 200*200mm are driven into the soil. Steel plates or bolts are reserved on the top to connect with the front and rear columns of the upper bracket. The depth is generally less than 3 meters, and the construction is relatively simple and fast.

Bored Cast-in-place Pile Foundation (Supplement)

It has a low cost but has high requirements on the soil layer. It is suitable for silty soil with a certain compactness or plastic to hard plastic silty clay, not suitable for loose sandy soil layers. For relatively hard pebbles or gravels, there may be problems of difficult hole forming.

Steel Screw Pile Foundation (Supplement)

A special machine is used to screw it into the soil. It has fast construction speed, no need for site leveling, no earthwork and no concrete, which protects the vegetation on the site to the greatest extent. The height of the bracket can be adjusted according to the terrain, and the screw piles can be reused.

Cement piers are poured on the cement roof. This is a common installation method, which has the advantage of being stable and not damaging the roof waterproofing.
