I. Cement Counterweight Method

1.1 Casting Cement Blocks on Cement Roofs

This is the most common installation method, which involves casting cement blocks on cement roofs.
  • Advantages: Stable structure; no damage to the roof waterproofing layer.
  • Disadvantages: Requires a large amount of manual labor and is time-consuming. The cement blocks need more than a week of curing time, and the brackets can only be installed after the cement blocks are fully cured. A large number of prefabricated molds (for cement forming) are also needed.

1.2 Prefabricated Cement Counterweights

  • Advantages: Relatively less time-consuming than making cement blocks. Prefabricated cement counterweight bricks can be customized in advance, reducing the need for cement embedded parts.
  • Disadvantages: Low installation efficiency.

II. Steel Structure Connection

Flange plates are installed at the bottom of the bracket columns. Galvanized steel sections are used to connect several bracket arrays together, with each unit being 500KW or even 1MW and above. The self-weight of the bracket arrays is used to enhance wind resistance, and only a small number of cement blocks need to be made at the roof's load-bearing points to fix the large bracket arrays.
  • Advantages: Quick and easy installation; convenient for disassembly.
  • Disadvantages: High cost, with the bracket cost being no less than 1 yuan per watt.

III. Chemical Anchor Bolts

For prefabricated floor slab workshops with high load-bearing capacity per unit area, a 5cm-thick cement layer can be laid on the roof first. Then, chemical anchor bolts are used to fix the brackets. Drilling will not damage the roof waterproofing layer. Currently, only a small number of projects in China use this method, and its service life remains to be verified.
  • Advantages: Non-expansion force anchoring; simple construction; cost-saving.
  • Disadvantages: Poor heat resistance, which may fail at high temperatures; welding is not allowed.

IV. Direct Bonding with Two-Component Rebar Glue for Special Power Station Installation

  • Advantages: Time-saving and labor-saving; reduces the need for columns.
  • Disadvantages: High cost.

V. Clamps for Color Steel Tile Roof Brackets

There are three common types of clamps for color steel tile PV brackets: standing seam type, angle-lock type, and ladder type.For standing seam and angle-lock color steel tiles, the wave crests of the color steel tiles are mostly used, and special aluminum alloy clamps are used to fix the bracket guide rails. The service life of color steel tiles is about 10-15 years, and the load-bearing capacity is 15-30kg per square meter. Most of them are installed in a flat layout, while a small number are installed at an inclined angle.
